This movie had great potential to be scary and amazing. However someone decided to insert a political item right in the middle that didn’t fit and felt forced. As soon as the cop started shoving the kid around and yelling “stop resisting” and choking the kid you completely lost me. Then you lost me for good when he started yelling at the main character for being white. It was forced and cheesy.

It was very slow paced. Good concept. But, very illogical.

I tried to give this movie the benefit of the doubt, but it just wasn't believable. Perhaps it was supposed to be satirical? There were a few brief moments where it lived up to the thriller I was expecting. I was distracted by Maika Monroe's cookie cutter facial surgery..It didn't improve her acting ability and she looks like so many other indistinguishable actresses today. A waste of time.\r

Bad acting (the convenience store guy is the least worse), poor acting...
