It was a feel-good movie. The actors/characters were very likeable and did a great job. Favorite character was Earl. I liked that the content was fresh and not too cliche.

I think this movie is overated. It was the Sundance audience award winner. There was so many films at sundance, this was the best? I felt the same way when I saw Silver Linings Playbook!(TIFF Audience Choice Winner).

I think the whole girl with cancer, boy who becomes a friend/boyfriend story is a little played out. But I do think this movie was better than A Fault in Our Starts but that one was released first so this movie is going to seem like a copy.

I enjoyed this movie. I would recommend it to anyone, but I think 3 out of 5 stars is fair, I wish I could give 3.5, I just feel it doesn't deserve 4.
