Loved it. Well done, beautifully shot, incredible dancing. I would have loved more resolution as to the Nina and Sonny storylines (we see Usnavi and Vanessa several years in the future, but no one else really) but otherwise it was fantastic.

My husband and I saw In the Heights on Broadway when it first came out. We love the island salsa music and sense of community in this story. The movie contained every bit of the Latin sound and also included exciting hip dance numbers while adding unique locations that enhanced the choreography, the pool scene and the love duet on the side of the building. I loved the happy ending! Thank you!

In The Heights is exactly the kind of movie we need right now — a celebration of community and an explosion of joy, focused on community gatherings. It’s everything I’ve missed about living in New York City this year and I can’t wait for life to be like that again. I’ve wanted this movie to exist for over a decade and I’m so glad it does. No other musical makes me feel so connected to my heritage.

THIS PROJECT WAS PHENOMENAL!!!! Kudos to Lin-Manuel Miranda, Quiara Alegria Hudes, Jon M. Chu and the entire cast of ITH! I laughed, I smiled, I danced, I cried, I felt nostalgic for the days when neighborhoods were like this! My aunt lived in a Hispanic neighborhood and I would spend summers with her and this reminded me of those summers! LOVED this project!
