The film's vibe, its pacing and its mix of tension and comedy were spot-on. All the actors gave strong performances. The casual homophobia in the film was jarring and regrettable. That it appeared was fine - it fleshed-out characters; that it seemed to be validated by the film, as characters continued to make homophobic jokes without personal growth or repercussions, was sad.

I thought the plot was great. Just enough violence (not too gory) and humor to lighten those moments. I would consider it to be a great family film with older children. I recommend this movie for pure entertainment.
