pacing was slow and narrative was clunky and awkward. Not enough "beasts"

While not a perfect movie, it was entertaining and surprising enough. Disappointed that lead female characters Tina and Queenie didn't display more common sense. Also it's VERY UNCLEAR why Leda ultimately ended up choosing Newt's brother over Newt. Enjoyed the look at the French ministry of magic, appreciated the cute fantastic beasts. LOVED the peek at 1890s Hogwarts.

If you are a Harry Potter fan then, this is a movie for you. If you didn't read the books then you maybe get lost in the story line. i had so many questions after the movie. Young Newt played very well, portraying the character.

I was very disappointed. I love the franchise, but I found this particular movie to be to slow at the beginning and very very convoluted. The sets and effects were awesome and I liked the acting, but the story-line that left me unsatisfied. In addition, the ending did not leave me with anticipation but instead left me with the feeling that this movie was just a set up for a future movie.
