I was initially hesitant about Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft. I played Tomb Raider religiously as a child and couldn’t picture it. However, she did great! I also like how it kept to the fan base with the hidden traps and overall vibe. I wasn’t bored at any point throughout the film.

Amazing action film! Vikander re-emagines the role of Lara Croft giving her vulnerability and emotion. Sooooo much better than Jolie could ever dream of representing that character. I'm hoping there will be a sequel!

Buildup was really good, but I felt like it might not have climaxed well enough. Might just be me though
