I would rate this movie with 4 stars. It moved quickly and had all the aspects we remember of growing up. Going to the party and not feeling she fit in was something I connected with. The only thing I missed was an adult saying to her these are the best years of your life.

Awesome movie. Gives a realistic look at what it is like to be human. Totally relatable to not only young adults but to all age groups. I am 32 years old and went with my friend's 19 year old daughter. Both of us were constantly turning to each other saying "That would totally happen to me" or "That has happened to me". The movie was absolutely great. Would recommend to anyone.

Loved it!!! Went with my parents and I thought they were going to fall asleep but the movie had them completely awake and interested in what was going to happen next. Also loved that it wasn't really a love story it was more about self discovery which is exactly what every girl that age goes through
