Great summer action movie with humor.

Good popcorn movie

The core concept of “The Tomorrow War” is derivative, but many of its moments are not; for every familiar beat, another cliché is set up and surprisingly discarded. (The climactic end sequence springs to mind, and a predictable "identity reveal" is a mid-film plot point rather than a big third-act twist.) Despite its action-film marketing, the film unexpectedly cares about science, from its unique time-travel rules to the characters’ skillsets and actions. Likeable characters, well-designed aliens, excellent CGI, and a serviceable script make this a worthy (if long) summer weekend watch.

Well-written, well-paced, well-acted. I like that it didn't follow all of the typical formulas that films like this typically do. Thank you!
