Great for fans of the book, and or Stephen King; a bit outdated for non fans who saw the TV movie

It was surprisingly good. Went in with low expectations but the kids and Pennywise all did a great job. It had its comedic moments and quite a few creepy moments. Well directed and while it's not exactly the way it was in the book, as a stand alone movie, it held is own.

Effectively scary and surprisingly funny. The kid actors were great, especially the kid from Stranger Things and the hypochondriac.
