It had some cute quirks, and I liked the lead character's older brother. However, it was incredibly slow-moving, and there was almost no plot.

So-so storyline needed more developing

The 80's throwbacks, the costume design, the settings were all great. The cast was all great except for the leading lady, who was way too old for the lead boy. It seemed like a pedophilic teacher falling in love with her student. Also, a lot of stories were left with loose ends, such as the reasoning behind befriending the bully who is also a sexual predator. It was confusing.
