Spotlight was an excellent film about the lengths the Catholic Church went to cover up the sexual abuse scandal involving so many of its priests. Thanks to the hard investigative and flawed work by the Spotlight group of journalists of the Boston Globe, the world learned of this huge crime and worst, the evil doings of the Church in an effort to hide the truth. Excellent film!

As a Catholic it was hard to watch. It was like ripping a scab of an old wound. But the film was well done. I could see some Oscar nods possible. I give Spotlight a solid B plus
