That is a setting that is very rarely written about: Immigrant families of color trying to live the American dream. Most people do not realize how hard it is to do. There are so many obstacles - big and little - yet the hard work goes on. In The Heights is an entertaining way to bring attention to this determined group of people through a nice balance of song, dance, and story-telling. Bravo!!!
