Very good-looking flashy special effects and great individual performances, but a weak, contrived story in service of building pieces of the bigger narrative of the franchise.

Disappointing entry in the Wizarding World saga. JK Rowling's script spins its wheels for the entirety of the run time, offering up virtually no character development or plot advancement, all while undermining the history and lore of the established Harry Potter cannon. Strictly for the hard-core fans, though even they will likely be left either confused or irritated.

Good special effects. Love the creatures. Didnt hold my interest fully because it was slow at times but still a good movie.
