IT delivers the goods!

It's Stand By Me with monsters. Gets the one thing so few King adaptations get right, the human side. We really care about the kids because we really LIKE the kids. They feel real, so when they're scared, we are. Skarsgard had big shoes to fill after Tim Curry, but he manages something unique and horrifying. Will be seeing it again upon release.

Kids were impeccably cast. Not a perfect film, but something fans of the book and original TV movie can enjoy with new fans alike.

It is a brilliant ensemble film with amazing scares, incredible cinematography, a haunting score, and an extremely engrossing plot.All of the child actors were phenomenal and Bill Skarsgård is a truly terrifying Pennywise.I loved how fast the film went by. While it does slow down a bit in the 2nd half, it is still an exhilarating ride from start to finish. I never found it to be boring.
