This was a modern twist on an age-old problem/challenge of youth: acceptance of oneself, acceptance by others, and the struggle of self esteem. Although the plot was somewhat predictable in spots, the 'teacher' was totally unpredictable and provided great comic relief and a stability for an awkward kid at an awkward time in her life.I could relate to Nadine'so plight a little. It was a good movie.!

I liked it a lot. Extremely relatable with very enjoyable characters!

This movie depicted an amazingly accurate and quite touching contemporary take on modern teenage-hood (and quite frankly, adulthood). I particularly enjoyed the crassness of Woody Harrelson's teacher and the realness of the female friendship transitioning from childhood to teenager.

Had looked forward to it for a long time (great trailer), and I was not disappointed.Really good teen movie -- though that's coming from someone who's long past being a teenager.Thank you!
