The story focuses a lot on the main character’s development and his struggles to break barriers and keep traditions but it isn’t clear in the beginning what led him on this path. Would be nice to have some focus on the other character developments too.

What I took away from this movie. You are 18 and have lots of tatoos on your body. You can also ride in a car without wearing a seat belt. I usually do not enjoy sports movies but I di like the movie Hoosiers from years past as they did not swear as much. The conflict about the Chinese older and younge\r r generations was interesting.

It's a good movie

An intriguing drama that combines basketball along with a cross-cultural relationship framed in contemporary youth culture. Presents a story with three-dimensional characters who defy stereotypes. While the romantic relationship seemed to have formed rather easily, the struggles and dreams resonate with heart and truth.
