Typical summer movie, but fun and good action.

Very fun movie. Some good tension and a few nice homages to Jaws. Some solid if not overly complicated characters. The beach attack scene was ultimately a letdown (lots of potential but not enough carnage given the set up) but we all enjoyed ourselves for the most part.

Your generation had Jaws, ours now has The Meg! So funny, action packed and overall great movie. Laughed and jumped multiple times! Would recommend!
