it was really good! i love the story and the expansion of it when it came to changing it from the broadway production. the animated sequences were also a really nice touch because it added to the sense of hyperbole that was already there with the lines.

It is a fun and moving musical! The situations presented are very relatable to people of color and those living in urban settings. For Latinxs, it is a very realistic movie that touches on many of the experiences of those who have immigrated recently, those who are second+ generation, and those who have lived here all their lives, but do not enjoy the benefits of formal documentation. Excellent!

It was AMAZING. The dance scenes were incredible!!!

An incredible movie start to finish! The music is uplifting, the message is inspiring, and the beautiful way it was shot only adds more depth to the already bright and vibrant world. Maybe my new favorite film. I couldn't stop dancing in my seat!
