Johnny Depp is a wonderful villian and there is lots of action and spectacular special effects in this movie.

Overall I liked the movie but felt that some character arcs could have been fleshed out better. The movie didn't feel long even at 2:13 so I think another 10-15 mins would have been valuable. Also this film felt much more like it exists to setup what's to come, more than having it's own story to tell. The Harry Potter movies seemed to pull off combining these elements better.

It was an okay movie, but I'm a Harry Potter fan. Felt very much like a middle movie and I wish it was a 3 part series, not 5.

It's a solid ok. The plot moved very little from the end of the 1st movie. The special effects were good, but I'd like to see more practical effects. It was a little slow and I'd like to know more about Dumbledore and grindelwald.
