Very unique backstory! I thought the idea of fighting a war in the future was really interesting and intense to watch play out, especially when they reinstated the draft. I also thought many of the characters were dimensional and engaging. There were some pieces of the storyline that were confusing and did not make sense to me. I think it would have been nice to explain some pieces more. Overall, this was an entertaining movie and I felt pulled into the story.

It was pretty good and fun action sci-fi movie complete with family drama and epic fight scenes. Only thing I didn't like was how the movie was structured. It could've ended great with the older daughter dying and the lead character being transported back to his original timeline. I understand that they needed to solve the problem by killing the aliens before they thawed, but for me I thought that the fact that they already have the toxin to fight them was enough. They could've instead prolonged the search for the "queen" alien instead, using the alien spaceship as her homebase.

It was a bit choppy in the beginning, but started flowing more smoothly about a quarter of the way in. Interesting storyline and, of course, LOVED Chris Pratt; as well as JK Simmons, Sam Richardson and Edwin Hodge!! Special effects were very interesting!!
