Some scenes did a good job of hitting tough topics in a transparent way (racism, 1980s unemployment) and that was good. Other scenes were hokey like a theatrical musical.I wouldn’t recommend the film to everyone. I’d be selective in my recommendations.

It was a feel good movie!

This film is a real treat, giving insight about Pakistani family life. After the screening, the audience enjoyed in-person appearances from the film's writer, director and actors.

I think overall is decent movie, on some parts I feel focus too much on Bruce music and exaggerating the influence of the music on the movie, but maybe that was the way it happened.If you don't have nothing else to see then it is good, but honestly should be better movies.
