James Franco gave a good performance but, having read the book the film was based on, I was disappointed that the movie didn't adhere more closely to the real-life story. The movie walked a fine line between tearing down the artist which was the subject of the film and praising him. I don't think it totally succeeded in maintaining that fine balance.

Best if you've seen "The Room" already. Thankfully, I saw a free screening of it the previous week!

It is very entertaining.
