Beautiful cinematography and well-acted. Watching the women work together for the ultimate solution was powerful and intense. The broader implications of men having total dominion over women and the resulting normalized violence echo through US history of chattel slavery and the current Christofascism movement to squash women’s and LGBTQ+ rights. Thank you for the opportunity to screen the movie.

Slow, cerebral, and quite aptly titled. I had hoped for more emotion, instead, I was forced to suss it out of the dialog myself.\rGreat story though. Important and relevant content.

Much needed dialog (!) on the spectrum of sexual assault, community-societal action/complicity, that raises questions, sparks thoughtful discussion. I found the performances moving, the characters slowly embodying themselves through the discussion and action. Minor quibble: as someone with a rural background, who works as a land manager, I found the costuming very distracting. Every hair in place (for the most part), clothing all new, clean, nothing wash-worn nor mended. EVERYONE looked JUST dressed in their Sabbath Best, in every scene. (white socks in sandals still pristine, ?!)
