I loved it! Such a thrill ride. My hand was over my gasped mouth from start to finish. Lots of gasps, “gross” and “omg”s from me It wasn’t super scary, but some people may think so. Rather it was pure adrenaline & brutality. It was ACTION PACKED w/ one action scene leading to the next. The most brutal of the franchise It had comedic moments & lots of callbacks to the other films. It fed the fans while inviting new audiences who may not be familiar with the fandom. Amazing special effects. Very good addition to the evil dead franchise.

Intense and brutally violent in the best way. I love that I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and the creativity with the filmmaking and story was seriously wonderful.

Evil Dead was a great addition to the series. The set up and lead up for the film was awesome. I preferred the tone to be consistent, felt there was to much comedy mixed in with the horror parts rather then having it separated. I also felt the final "deadite" / demon will was less terrifying compared to Evil Dead (2013) and Evil Dead Rise. Overall the family dynamic was great and the back story between the main character and Will.
