well-mounted, involving and affecting

A beautifully staged film - and starts off with alot of humor and interest, but seems to lose the energy as it dives into the more serious matter at the end.

I wonderful version of Jane Austen's "Emma." Absolutely entertaining from start to finish and very well cast.

It was very pretty. And who cannot love Bill NIghly.\rIt drags a bit near the end but all in all, just a nice, fun film that is a feast for the eyes.
