It was a nice stretch to see Meryl in this role. The family was indeed troubled but every family is, so some scenes made people feel uncomfortable, because it hit close to home about being true to self and true to others. The uneasy alliances that emerged felt real, and it was a great example of capacity to forgive self and others.

Fun and great acting. for the mature crowd.

Movie was good, Streep's acting good as usual. Security on the other hand, was excessive and took too long.

Great movie. Meryl Streep was just incredible. She did okay with singing in Mama Mia but this time around, she did great!. Rick Springfield still got it!
