In the Heights captured my childhood and the spirit of all of the wonderful people who live in the real Washington Heights. The music, the performances and story all come together joyously. I could not stop crying because this is the first time I saw my life reflected on the screen. It honored the lives of the Latino people. I can't wait to see it again. I loved the movie! As a major fan of the musical I think this adaption was extremely successful, and I love how the movie was adapted to represent the times and current situations and experiences. I absolutely will see this film again and recommend it!
