What a great take on a timeless classic. From the scenery to the acting, there is not a misplaced moment. Every character is portrayed beautifully and acted with such effortlessness that you are drawn in. I highly, highly recommend this movie and cannot wait to see it again.

I really enjoyed the movie with my 17 yr old daughter. She is now inspired to read the book.

A modern interpretation of L.M. Alcotts' timeless story of the March family gives today's viewers even stronger and fiercer sisters (yes, even Beth) with an approachable, warm, and tender tone. Every sister was made more believable, and Laurie played by Timothee Chalamet was a treat. Saoirse Ronan carried the film superbly, but it was Florence Pugh's Amy that felt like the sleeper hit. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2019 version and would recommend to everyone.
