Well acted with an interesting storyline that is based on true events. Could have used a lot more Tesla, but the two leads were excellent.

Terrible play on words for a title...but a great period movie set in 1890's+ about the personalities of Thomas Edison & George Westinghouse "fighting" for supremacy of electricity development. The true name of this movie should be called the Electric Current War. It was a nice touch to add Tesla the Futurist to the plot.

Interesting introspective of the lives and minds of the men and women on the race to illuminate the country. An insight of the struggle to balance knowledge, talent, drive, family and wealth to bring “current” to the population. But what brings joy and light also brings darkness as harnessing the precious current will also deliver death.

This is an educational movie that gives the history of how current was used. How the information shared was interesting. As an adult I never knew that General Electric and Westinghouse were rivals but did not understand why. This film could be shown to children for a variety of reasons: history of how current, importance of copyright for inventions, never give up (Mr. Tesla).
