A classic Quentin Tarantino movie with hilarious laughs and extreme gore that kept audiences wanting more. The leading actors graced the screen with hilarious antics. Does it lack the diversity that most people in 2019 crave? Yes, however, I hope everyone can see the film for what it is, the beauty of Hollywood in the 60s.

The movie Tarantino was born to make. Nostalgic, stunning , seamless recreation of 1969 Hollywood. It is filled will so many cinephile references from yesteryear. The movie tends to meander and has languorous feel. But when the finale comes it packs a wallop. Leo and Pitt are exceptional. Leo In trailer Oscar worthy. Robbie underutilized. Margaret Qualley and young actress Julia Butters are standouts in small roles. The music is a character itself. A great time and a 2nd view is a must.

It is good, but not as good as Pulp Fiction. Also, I do not mind violence in movies, but the parts, in the end, were a little over the top.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is Tarantino's most personal, humorous and in a way, his most experimental film yet, and though the film at times feels too slow-moving, it’s focus on its character's hardships in life, and it's visualization of 1969 Los Angeles that felt natural and homelike, makes for quite a touching film. By the end though, it all leads to a finale that made my whole theater erupt in shock, horror, and laughter. It was overall one of my favorite cinema experiences this year.
