It is good to see the storyline coming together. Season 1 spent a lot of time introducing characters, that it was difficult to follow and stay interested.

Enjoying this predecessor to the trilogy, of all the books i did not read was the Silmarillion, so cannot comparatively judge it from that aspect, but knowing the basis of the story of the rings of power we do get through the trilogy, its exciting to see these characters come to life, and to get a better understanding of them, and how the rings came to be.
