It is a very emotional movie.A real tear jerker. **tissues are required.

Gentle and powerful treatment of a hard story to tell and even harder to accept. Strongly recommend.

Very difficult subject matter for a film sensitively and respectfully done!! Beautiful cinematography and the director's use of silence to convey feeling and events brought on a more profound emotional experience. While some of the scenes were tough to watch, it was done tastefully and it evoked introspection and true perspective to the trauma experienced by so many innocent Indigenous children.

A necessary film for Canada. It's hard to watch but shows the pain of people going through residential schools. It helps audience to understand Canada's past and present.
