Good acting, compelling story, shocking without being gory or over-the-top.

I enjoyed the suspense of the movie. I think they made it more suspenseful. It lacked as much drama. I think it could have had a more serious tone to it and more developed story lines. The asthma, the wife trying to figure him out, the learning to write.
