This movie was interesting for featuring an Asian lead and including Chinese cultural references. The acting was decent, but not powerful. The pacing seemed a little slow at times and the cliched sports ending almost seemed anti-climatic.

I thought it was a comedy/romantic but leans towards drama and interesting dynamic of being a first generation American trying to chart one's own path while still respecting family from a Chinese point of view.

I liked it.

The movie was good, but some of the dialog was too fast to understand. Also the ending was a bit confusing.
