This is a Classic love story that never give up on pure love. It was fascinated see the transition during the sixty & seventy. The taste of music, the food, the women in the work place among others. The cast was really good.

Terrific music. Well developed story and characters. Portrayed quite accurately the challenges of being a musician, and an ambitious black woman in the sixties.

I thought is a beautiful film. A feel good movie with cast that needed representation of a true love story that is relatable even in modern times. I loved how strong women were show cased in a matter-of-fact way. Also the music was prefect! A much needed film right now.
