good character development and acting... a little slow at times, has a soap opera quality. but found it entertaining

I think Sylvie's love was a great movie a bit on the longer side for movies. Good storytelling and storyline. The story slightly addressed women's/ gender equity and work being done at that time around race and civil rights. They seem antidotial and could have been better woven into the storyline. While Sylvie was independent and went for her dream she was willing to give it up for love which is very cliche in movies.

Thoroughly enjoyable until an ending that seems tacked-on to keep the film under two hours.

I've already recommended it. I posted on Instagram right after I was finished watching. Such a good love story. Well told.
