Great part biopic on Fred Hampton; part crime drama! A well-put together film from the direction, cinematography, the editing, the musical score, costume design and not but the least, the acting! Great leading performances from Stanfield, Kaluuya and Dominique Fishback! Congrats to director Shaka King, the writers and the producers; Charles King and Ryan Coogler. Heavy Oscar contender!

It exemplifies the manipulation of a system that uses the struggle of a people to turn them against each other. It told a story that many don’t know but need to.

It’s a must see. Daniel’s portrayal of Fred doesn’t disappoint the viewer.

A very sobering depiction of how our government has betrayed its Black American citizens. A very well made film.
