In the movie one of the story lines involved a mosque, and the head of the mosque throwing out Shaft and JJ. This really did make the Muslim people look sketchy, and was never fully resolved. I would have liked to have seen some mutual understanding and respect at the end. There is enough Islamaphobia already and I don't want this very funny film to add to that.

Good fun light action comedy movie to enjoy! A bit predictable but still worth watching.

funnier than i thought it would be

Funny. Not as serious as the original. Too much profanity, but SLJ is well known for that. Enjoyable and entertaining. Now need to go back and compare again to the original.
