Great intro to addicts that are hard of hearing :)

A captivating, subtle film about embracing silence. I don’t know anyone who is deaf and this film gave me an opportunity to hear what a transition to deafness sounds like. As well as what that journey looks like as the lead played by Riz Ahmed learns a new way of being. A notable performance by Riz; I was impressed with his range and depth to bring us the layers of the character, Ruben. Some might feel it’s slow in some parts and the tone of this film does change after the first 10 minutes or so but this is worth the watch. Avoid distractions while this is on, really watch it.

Thought provoking... slow paced. Some very interesting plot sections. Enjoyed it.
