Alpha was a very enjoyable, feel-good movie. I liked the setting and time that the story was placed in, which seemed a bit fantasy-esque to me. The acting was good, and I liked how the relationship between the main character and the wolf was portrayed. The cons to the movie are that at times some of the events were unbelievable, and the length of the film wasn't long enough for the story to be fully told. I thought the beginning was a little too slow and the ending too rushed.

It was a good movie. I would say its good as a coming of age story as well as good for dog lovers.

While definitely not historically accurate it is a beautiful and enjoyable film and a fun one to watch with your loved ones and make you appreciate your dogs. I wish I could have had mine with me while I was watching it. The theater seats did seem to move by my pocket just hitting them right without meaning to touch them which was mildly annoying but the movie itself was worth it. It is subtitled which I don't mind but there are some who would so keep that in mind.

I wasn't sure about this movie before I went in. However, it surprised me with the detail they put into it. There were a couple of things in the movie I had to ignore as impossible but overall I liked it.
