It was ok. Not my favorite

I will never approve of the use of the "N" word. That being said, I love how the use of the word was used in a positive manner but I would adore it being ANOTHER word. I loved learning about Chinese culture, would like to see more of it in movies.\rI would recommend this movie because of the Chinese cultural references and because it was an interesting story with good acting. I'd be curious to read others review of it and that won't happen unless people see it.\rCurious if this is an accurate depiction of how kids are today or just a story.

Boogie is a good story about an Asian kid with hoop dreams. I enjoyed the movie a lot. I thought it was funny when it was supposed to be funny, good writing and funny jokes! It missed on some of the more emotional and important story parts like the climax, but overall I liked it! \r\rGood first directorial debut for Eddie.\r\r\r
