A warmhearted story that takes us back to a recent time when LGBT people were less accepted and more likely not to have come out to their family. Well acted and dramatic.

A nice small film with great characters. I liked that the film focused on a few key scenes to illustrate the characters' lives as opposed to a sprawling approach to the story. While Paul Bettany's performance as Uncle Frank was very good and understated, I really enjoyed Peter Macdissi's character Wally. He was just such a funny and kindhearted character---I want an Uncle Wally! While the backstory of Frank's relationship with his family (esp his father) was heartbreaking, I loved that the film ended on a hopeful note--something I crave during these times of pandemic and social unrest.

This was a well-made and lovely movie. I loved how the subject of homosexuality which still remains a sore subject with some was shown in a very loving way. The movie didn’t feel forced at all. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the relationship between Beth and Frank grow and Walid’s character was so lovable and beautiful. \rGood job Amazon!!!\r
