The movie was thought provoking and very much part of the time, besides the story being set in the 1980's ? Perceptions and class distinctions were apparent then as much as they are now. Sad storyline but enough to make you aware that things aren't always what they seem and that being aware of your surroundings should always be first and foremost in your mind !

This was a gritty look back on a small town in the 90s, as seen through the eyes of a local teen reporter. Some great twists along the way, and a surprise outcome to the big mystery. Some parts were more violent/graphic than I anticipated, given the rest of the vibe from the show. But, it felt very real, and not overdone for shock and awe. I'd watch this again, and will recommend it to my friends.
