Plot is confusing and unbelievable, shallow characters, all about the action.

Though they have ramped up the action sequences in this latest installment of the series, there is no question that the movies are getting a bit long in the tooth. The false mask routine is too predictable now. The Angela Bassett character is tiresome and should be retired. Loved the Vanessa Kirby portrayal. I did like the movie but not as much as the first couple.

Not the best of the MI films. The action is good, but the movie is simply too long. The threat is spelled out early on, and it seems like great care was taken not to offend any nationality, religion, etc by making the terrorists part of some weird nationless organization who's goal was not ever very clear. Vhing Rhames seemed tired and breathless in every scene, but Tom Cruise was great as usual.
