Powerful story with an uplifting ending! Great acting and beautiful landscapes. | Overall, my daughter (age 13) and I loved the film. We were drawn in to the narrative by Chuck who played Alpha! A few times I caught myself wondering how people from 20,000 years ago would have perfectly machine stitched clothing or such fine communion skills; however, the excellent narrative overshadowed potential historical inaccuracies. (Disclosure: I’m a historian!) A must see for all dog lovers!

This movie was AMAZING. Beautifully depicted with a FEW awesome messages attached. The only constructive criticism i have is there was not ONE person of color in the movie. I understand it was supposed to take place in Europe 20,000 years ago, but the culture of the people in the movie were clearly taken from other cultures from people of color. It's 2018, stop the appropriation! Otherwise, this movie was truly phenomenal.

I loved it. Awesome story, great visuals with the landscapes and the animals. It was cool to see the different animals interacting with each other and the humans. I enjoyed seeing the tactics employed in the buffalo hunt and then turning around and seeing the hunters themselves being hunted.

Alpha is a story about perseverance against all odds as well as the relationship between man and his best friend. Keda left home a boy and returned as a man, literally. Keda's facial hair and that on his head showed tremendous growth which implies this journey took about a year. Alpha proved to be his friend and protector, first saving him from the giant feline and then from the frozen water. Making Alpha a pregnant female is an incredible plot twist. I loved the film.
