Some parts are frustrating, but it's great to see a writer and director with a different perspective than other coming of age stories typically in theaters

The movie was okay. Unfortunately not my style. It was done well and I like the way the story unfolded. was interesting how the fortune teller played a role in the film.

The film lacked empathy for most of the characters and the film protagonist, Boogie was plagued with nihilism if not outright narcissism which didn't bode well. Acting was pretty decent though especially for all the new actors and actresses in the movie. The premise kinda felt like a Jean Claude Van Damm film from the 80s. Was hoping for more.

An interesting story how a young Asian basketball player had to make some choices that he wasn’t ready for. He was an excellent basketball player but had his parents wanting something and he now has a girlfriend that confuses him even more!
