Dumb fun science fiction action movie that my Dad would love.

The Tomorrow War is definitely one of the best futuristic action films I've seen in awhile. Sadly Strahovski as Mary, I didn't feel it. After Betty Gilpin's roll in The Hunt I feel like she could have taken Mary much further, pushing the bar between heroine and badass. I really loved the development within the primal alien race. We see not just to fear but to understand why. The comedy bromance of Sam Richardson and Chris Pratt, not to mention J. K. Simmons flying in as "Conspiracy Santa" had me in tears. I'll make sure to bring my jar of pickles and baby oil for the next movie night.

It was a good cast, maybe a touch too long but overall good.

It's a great movie with great action and the comedy happened at the right moments in the movie. Chris Pratt was awesome and so was J.K. Simmons.
