Wonderful portrayal of the angst-filled world of teenagers, told through the eyes of a particularly emotionally vulnerable individual, Nadine, brilliantly played by Hailee Steinfeld. Haley Lu Richardson is equally amazing as her confidante, Krista. Nadine's other interactions with those around her, most notably her History teacher, wittily performed by Woody Harrelson, are also compelling.

Revisited the angst of high school. Funny and entertaining

Great coming of age movie. Funny and sarcastic, but serious and heartfelt. I thought this was going to be just another teen comedy, but there are real moment, real themes that take this movie to a whole other level. Fantastic job by Hailee Steinfield and Woody Harrelson.
