Very touching. I would recommend it.

An enjoyable movie. Heartwarming. A bit predictable and contrived at points, but made for a pleasant evening out. I found myself thinking that, given the plot holes the size of Saturn, that the film makers might have been going for more allegory than actual story.

A nice change from the ordinary. Not Sci-Fi, not a drama, not a comedy. Just a real feel good movie.

I really enjoyed the film. The storyline was compelling and engaging. The reason I gave it four stars is for two reasons. I guessed the plot twist of the NASA guy, Nathaniel (Gary Oldman) being Gardner's father in the beginning. But, there were many people in my screening theater that gasped when that was revealed, so I could be the minority. Also, I didn't believe that Tulsa and Gardner needed to sleep together to "seal their love" or whatever. I thought the love and commitment they had while on the journey was enough to carry them through the next years. Because if they had such a strong bond only through chatting on the internet, surely they could make it regardless of the level of physical intimacy. I would recommend this movie to my friends and family and the film definitely left a feel good impression on me.
