Very good twist, John Cho’s acting was great and overall the movie was very entertaining. But there were too many plot holes. How could a detective get away with faking an entire investigation? How could all those other cops not notice that they didn’t search an entire zone of the lake? What kind of detective would get the parent so involved in the search, especially if she was trying to bungle the investigation? Overall I did enjoy the movie and I would recommend to friends.

Creative and enjoyable. Surprised by the twist. John Cho was excellent. Wonderful Asian-American young family depiction. Accurate portrayal of a parent trying to navigate social media.
